Kingspan Wind presents at the World Summit for Small Wind
20 March 2015
Organised by the World Wind Energy Association and New Energy Husum, WSSW2015 will bring together different stakeholders in the small and medium wind industry to participate in a global summit with the main theme “Small and Medium Wind Systems – microgrids and minigrids based on 100% renewable energy”.
The event is aimed at jointly exploring more ways of wind power application and flexible matching means to meet market demand on islands.
The Summit has a high profile programme comprising speakers from Canada, China, Cuba, Denmark, Estonia, Ethiopia, Israel, Italy, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and the UK. All of them selected by an international committee including members from Australia, China, Cuba, Ethiopia, Germany, Spain and the USA.
We are proud to announce that David Cregg, Commercial Manager at Kingspan Wind, has been selected to deliver a speech on ‘Micro-grids and mini-grids powered with wind: Isle of Eigg and The Falkland Islands’. So if you’re visiting the Summit and are interested in off-grid energy generation and how wind turbines can provide electricity to island communities from around the world and other remote settlements with the lack of a reliable grid infrastructure, you can’t miss David’s speech!
When: Friday the 20th of March
Where: Messe Husum & Congress, Hall 3
If you’d like to contact David to discuss your off-grid project, you can email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
