General Election & its impact on UK Renewables
02 February 2015
Supporters of Renewable Energy in the UK are encouraged to research the potential impacts on the sector with the upcoming general election in May.
RenewableUK, the trade association and voice of renewables in the UK, have launched an online workspace for supporters to research the potential impacts and benefits on the outcome of the general election but more importantly, the positive lobbying work being co-ordinated by RenewableUK & Action for Renewables on the build up to the election.
With the many successes of the Small Wind sector and a 15% increase on wind energy deployment in the past 12 months in the UK, at Kingspan Wind we are throwing our full support behind the RenewableUK campaign to help secure the future of the renewable sector for many years to come.
At the same time, we encourage all Small Wind Turbine owners, installers, suppliers and industry stakeholders to embrace the campaign, collaborate and help shape the future of the UK’s Renewable Energy Market Place.
